The last meeting of  the countries which participated in the project Everybody’s song was held in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, from 20th to 25th of March, 2008.

Beside Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia and Cyprus also participated in this project. The goal of this project was to raise consciousness on cultural differences and anti-discrimination and the role of music in intercultural understanding.
The occasion for this gathering on Cyprus was presenting the activities which countries that participated in the project realized during the last year.

K-town and Center for peace and democracy development, as partner organizations from Serbia, presented International art camp Kosjerić. The participants of seminar could hear more about those organizations and activities of the sixth Art camp. In addition to this, printed materials on camp were distributed, and presentation was accompanied  music created within workshop „Compose and act“ of the sixth International art camp. Audio visual presentation was highly regarded both by the participants and the organizers of the seminar.

During the seminar, beside project presentations, participants divided in groups, had a task to explore Nicosia, learn more about history of Cyprus, people who live there, their habits and customs.

The participants of the seminar attended the projection of the film „Who’s this song?“ by Adela Peeva, which was used as an inspiration for this project. After the projection panel discussion took place where the author of the film was present as well.

The Cyprus gathering was ended with the four-groups concert, composed of Turkish and Greek musicians and with messages „music with no face, music with no race, music with no colour, music with no age“, a step forward was once again made towards overcoming cultural and religious differences.
